What to Expect at Our Events
10:00 AM
Arrival & Setup
Coffee, introductions, and civilization selection.
New players can learn the rules as they play – no lengthy rules teach!
10:15 AM
Stone Age to the Bronze Age
The first moves are made. Civilizations spread across the ancient world.
1:00 PM
Lunch Break
Sandwiches, salads, and strategic discussions. $20 covers all meals for the day.
2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Bronze to the Iron Age
Empires clash, trade routes flourish, calamities strike, and civilizations advance through history.
6:00 PM
Dinner & Final Push
Refuel for the final push to the Late Iron Age. The most crucial decisions lie ahead.

Frequently Asked Questions
I’ve never played Mega Empires. Can I still join?
Absolutely! We love teaching new players. The rules can be taught as you play and by the 5th turn you know everything you need to play to the end.
How complex is Mega Empires compared to other board games?
Mega Empires is not a complex game and even casual gamers can easily learn the game. It is the long 12-hour format that you have to be ready for. During the game there are plenty of opportunities to take a break, stretch your legs and grab a snack.
What should I bring to a game session?
Just bring yourself and your appetite for epic gaming! We provide the game, food, drinks, and all materials. If you have dietary restrictions, just let us know in advance.
How do I sign up for the next game?
Check our homepage for upcoming games and use our Discord signup system. Games fill up quickly, so don’t wait too long!
Where are games held?
Most games are hosted at Rob’s place in the Beaches area of Toronto, with easy TTC access. We also participate in conventions like the Niagara Boardgame Weekend.
I have allergies to pets, is Rob’s house hypo-allergenic?
Rob has a large (100 lbs) Bernadoodle named Finley who loves to hang out with us as we play. He is considered hypoallergenic as he does not have dander due to being a poodle cross-breed.
